I think that was taken in Germany,,, he only shot once,,? I guess they're considered game animals and protected.

I've heard they can multiply by three annually,,,,,,, our hog problem here in the US is really bad in some spots. gonna get worse,,,,,,

I'm waiting till midnight, then my wife and I are going to try to spotlight some on a friends alfalfa field,,,, you wouldn't, believe the damage they do to a fresh irrigated field,,,,,,

:bang:

I have seen some real big herds of hogs. The first hunt I went on we ran across a herd in a bottom that must have have had 30 hogs that were 150 to 200+ not counting the little ones.

Quite a few... Yes, it looks like it is somewhere in Europe. The guy who posted this and other hunting videos was from France though. Hunting in Germany/Europe is not nearly as open as here. In Germany, you have to go through a two year ! class with a pretty heavy test at the end and then, if you can find a farmer/land owner who lets you hunt their property, it is pretty regulated, expensive and you as the hunter for the area are financially liable for damages done by wild life like hogs (in the area that is your hunting area).
Then on top of that the restrictions with firearms, population not liking the "animal killers", it is not really fun being a hunter over there.

Supposedly there is an issue with hogs in the sections of the Southern Tier of NY State...The NYS DEC has issued a memo in the hunting regs and here is a small portion of that memo:

DEC's goal is to eradicate feral swine from the state's landscape. In New York, people with a small game license may shoot and keep feral swine at any time and in any number. All other hunting laws and firearms regulations are still in effect when shooting feral swine.

From reading that small insert tom, it looks like you can go hog hunting without living there...but then again I'm sure that section was left out! :drink:
