Santa was having a bad day.......
The elves were fighting and breaking toys in the shop, and doing an all around bad job.
Ms Claus was getting on his case because the workshop was so dirty,
When Santa tried on his suit he had gained weight and it would not fit.
His Dr called and said his cholesterol was up.
When he tried to clean up the shop he knocked over Ms Claus whatnot stand and broke her trinkets.
An elf rushed in and said that Donner and Blitzen had jumped the fence and could not be found.

About that time the doorbell rang and there was the cutest little angel holding a Christmas tree for Santa's shop.
"Santa, where would you like for me to put this tree?"
The elf asked......

And that is how the angel came to be on top of the Christmas tree....
