Anyone else purchase their lifetime license this year...I plunked down the $960 for the lifetime sportsman, archery and muzzleloader tags...Stings a bit but will be a wise investment in the long run...I just wish I had done it 10 years ago...

If I were to wait until after 10/1 to purchase them, it would have cost me $275 more...

I hit the big 65 this year so my license dropped from $68 to $35,, Our lifetimes went from $1000 to $1800 10/01 also,,, a bargain for anyone under 40, and if you move out of state you're still good.

Good choice! :drink:

I don't think they are offering lifetime licenses here in Ohio, and if it only pays back in 40 years, I will be better off paying on an annual basis anyhow (plus who knows if even in 10 years from now, hunting will still be legal...)

$1,800 / $68 = 26.4yrs ,,,, I'm sure they'll go up in cost,,, 1/2 price over 65. think I'll just pay the $32.

:biglol:

A friend of mine bought his grandson the $1000 lifetime the day he was born,,,, he'll get his moneys worth!!

:sparklr:

My total cost for this season would have been around $96 so it will take me 10 years to cover the cost of my lifetime...Plus, who knows how much more they will go up in those 10 years...If I only had that crystal ball.
