My horse feed just went up $50 a ton.
Corn is so high for the ethanol scam that everybody has quit planting wheat, oats, soybeans & such.

Then diesel for the tractors is at $4 a gallon...it will get worse.

In eastern Ky, its danged near a crisis because of no hay.

Yeah, diesel for the farmers costs more, diesel for the trucks that deliver the feed costs more....

Yeah Kathy. Viz raised a good point there...

I am paying about 17 cents a pound for bulk feed, or $8.5 per 50 lb. bag of a mix of 500lb. oats, 500lb. horse pellets, and 1000 lbs rolled corn with 18 gallon of molasses mixed in.

I was paying .14 cents or $7 a bag.

That is bulk, they mix and I provide the bags and hual it home.
There are 40 50lb bags.

Its about 11% protein.

How much are you paying a bag?

If it had went up $4 a bag here, that would be about a 44% increase over the bags in the feed store....

I need to become your feed dealer...
